It is made in sync with the farmer and land tenders “new year” in the northern hemisphere, the Aries and Spring Equinox and the first of the 13 lunar cycles of the year, the Aries New Moon. This concept and relationship to time has always felt more true to me instead of the common man-made Gregorian calendar that revolves around capitalism and the work week, rather than the natural cycles.
