Record Release Live Performance @ Schubas
A week ago on Saturday January 27th we celebrated the release of Rosa at our favorite home town venue.
It was a beautiful evening shared with friends, family, comrades and community. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it, including Brok Mende who ran our sound for the evening, Frankie Master and Park Hills Circle and company who were our openers for the evening. CAARPR and USPCN for tabling and to Nadiah from USPCN for taking the time to speak to us about the movement to Free Palestine. Thanks to Taylor Pete of Firebird Magazine for spending time getting to know the band and Taylor & Alec Ozawa for taking incredible images. We are grateful. It was an incredible show.
Rosa & The Red Thread Release Party
Thank you for celebrating the release of this album with us!
The Rosa archetype was taught through the nurturing, supportive and revolutionary love of family, friends, comrades and community. The Red Thread is the lineage, pathways and universal will to connect and strengthen a shared sense of power, solidarity and healing. Y’all really helped us ground the intention of this work in celebration. It was a cherished night to share space with you for our listening event and record release party with our friends at Mom’s Chicago at Guild Row.
You can follow Kelly and the team at Mom’s to stay in the loop about future pop-ups @momschicago on Instagram.
A huge thank you to Guild Row for being so generous, collaborative and community centered.
To Olan for being a great friend, comrade and for the incredible photo captures of the night.
To Gwen for hopping behind the merch table and being a kind & supportive member of our team.
And to Alec Ozawa for building us a moon, taking photos of the band throughout the process of this album and night, and helping to fuel the heart of sharing this work with the world.
Thank you all for your love, support and being a part of this moment.
Shows coming early next year!
